What you'll do

In this role, you will build and optimize foundational mobile libraries and infrastructure that power Discord's mobile apps on both iOS and Android platforms. You will tackle challenging performance problems, focusing on Time-to-Interactive (TTI), memory optimization, crash reduction, and jank elimination to ensure a seamless user experience. Your contributions to the React Native infrastructure and upgrades will help maintain Discord's position at the forefront of RN adoption. You will design and implement mobile features using React Native, TypeScript, and JavaScript, while also engaging in native development when necessary. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key as you work to deliver high-quality mobile applications that delight millions of users worldwide.
