Rubrik is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to provide technical direction and business guidance to the SLED sales team in Michigan. You'll be responsible for driving revenue goals and architecting innovative data management solutions. This role requires expertise in cloud data management and strong sales acumen.
You have a strong background in sales engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in a technical sales role, ideally within the technology sector. Your expertise lies in understanding complex data management solutions and articulating their value to customers. You are skilled at building relationships with clients and have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. You are a problem solver who enjoys working collaboratively with sales teams to develop tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
Experience with cloud data management solutions is a plus, as is familiarity with hyper-converged infrastructure. You may also have a background in cybersecurity, which will help you address customer concerns regarding data protection. A technical degree in a relevant field can enhance your candidacy, but practical experience is equally valuable.
In this role, you will provide technical leadership and direction to the SLED sales team in Michigan, focusing on the North Central region. You will be responsible for driving innovative technical programs that align with regional revenue goals. Your day-to-day activities will include engaging with customers to understand their needs, demonstrating Rubrik's products, and providing tailored solutions that address their challenges. You will work closely with the sales team to develop strategies for positioning Rubrik's cloud data management platform effectively in the market.
You will assist in the analysis, design, and development of fully integrated technology solutions, ensuring that they meet customer requirements and align with industry standards. Your role will involve conducting product demonstrations, responding to RFPs, and providing technical support during the sales process. You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to post-sales support, helping to maintain customer satisfaction and drive long-term relationships.
