As a Business Development Manager – Seller Success, with Amazon Seller Services India, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on strategy for Amazon’s India venture – www.amazon.in. This program is focused on the strategic and operational aspects of expanding a suite of services through third party providers that can help sellers build their e-commerce business on Amazon. You will be expected to build a network of Amazon empaneled service providers who would deliver organic and new business growth to Amazon’s marketplace through a suite of enablement services for sellers on the platform. This is first of its kind initiative for Amazon, hence the role is entrepreneurial in nature.
Operating in a fast-moving and ambiguous environment you will work autonomously taking full control and responsibility for achieving business objectives. You will be held accountable for delivering a return on the investment Amazon makes in your business. You will be expected to define your business strategy, define and justify the operational plan and resources you require, and deliver on that plan. This role provides opportunities to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions in a competitive and ever-changing business climate.
Candidates who delight in optimizing scarce resources and can strategically outline effective solutions rapidly should apply. The role requires the person to dive really deep in to processes and systems, needing to be completely hands-on and manage and influence at a high level at the same time.


Key job responsibilities
-The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and ecommerce challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.
-Partner with service providers to scale seller growth by driving adoption of assigned services
-Develop and implement strategic plans to build and improve partner experience in the market. Consult and coach partners to grow and achieve improved results on Amazon
-Drive communication strategy of the program, track and monitor performance of service providers
-Execute a rigorous measurement program to track and report on Key Performance Indexes (KPIs) including reach and impact (including but not limited to service provided on-boarded, business growth impact) for your services, do root cause resolution to fix issues found, close the loop with stakeholders
-Educate and lead strategic conversations with partners and navigate complex relationships
-Be point of contact of the leadership and other teams This position is based in Bangalore, India and will require some travel.
- 3+ years of sales experience
- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
- Experience building new customer relationships- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
- Experience influencing C-level executives
