Carvana is seeking a Mid-Level Auto Mechanic to perform light to medium automotive repairs in their Post Production department. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience and offers competitive pay.
You have a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience and are skilled in performing light to medium automotive repairs. You are familiar with general automotive repairs such as radiators, timing belts, alignments, and suspension systems. You are capable of completing repairs for wheel bearings and axles, as well as carrying out vehicle climate control repair and replacement for ACs and heater cores. You are a team player who values delivering an exceptional customer experience and are willing to work overtime when necessary to meet customer commitments.
Experience with advanced automotive diagnostics and repair techniques would be a plus. Familiarity with state-of-the-art tools and technology in automotive repair is also desirable. You are committed to continuous learning and improvement, and you are open to participating in training programs offered by the company to enhance your skills and career progression.
As a Mid-Level Auto Mechanic at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing a variety of automotive repairs on vehicles in the Post Production department. Your day-to-day tasks will include diagnosing and repairing issues related to radiators, timing belts, alignments, and suspension systems. You will also be tasked with completing repairs for wheel bearings and axles, ensuring that vehicles are in optimal condition before they reach customers. You will utilize state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers to carry out your work efficiently and effectively.
You will collaborate with other mechanics and team members to ensure that all repairs are completed to the highest standards. Your role will involve maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly maintained. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with team members and management regarding repair progress and any challenges encountered during the repair process.
