You have a strong background in facility management, with at least 5 years of experience overseeing critical infrastructure systems in a data center environment. Your expertise includes managing teams and ensuring compliance with safety protocols, which is essential for maintaining high availability and performance. You are skilled in driving a culture of safety and security within your team, ensuring that all work performed aligns with established practices and procedures. You have a proven track record of hiring, coaching, and promoting team members, focusing on their career development and performance management. Your ability to collaborate with diverse teams and implement new technologies and work practices makes you a valuable asset in a rapidly changing market.

Desirable

Experience with AWS and cloud computing technologies is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to manage the operations of some of the world’s most powerful data centers. Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in facility management will further strengthen your candidacy.

What you'll do

In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the data center’s critical physical infrastructure, ensuring that it operates efficiently and effectively. You will manage on-site teams of 24x7 shift technicians, sub-contractors, and vendors, ensuring that all work performed is done to high quality without impacting internal or external customers. Your responsibilities will include maintaining service level agreements and driving a culture of safety and compliance within your team. You will be tasked with implementing the newest technology and work practices to meet the demands of a changing market, ensuring that the data center remains at the forefront of innovation. You will also be responsible for the career development of your team members, providing coaching and support to help them succeed in their roles.
