Who you are

You are an innovative UX Designer with a passion for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences. You have experience in designing both visual and voice interfaces, and you understand how to blend these elements to enhance user interaction. You are skilled in the end-to-end design process, from developing early-stage concepts to collaborating with engineers throughout the design lifecycle. You have a strong understanding of user research methodologies and can incorporate insights to inform your design decisions. You are proficient in Figma and have experience contributing to design systems and libraries. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure the customer remains at the center of decision-making.

Desirable

Experience with voice user interface design is a plus, as is familiarity with conducting user research and hallway testing. You are comfortable sharing your knowledge with peers and contributing to best practices within your team. A background in health and wellness technology would be beneficial, as you will be working on features that aim to improve users' lives.

What you'll do

In this role, you will participate in the end-to-end design process for complex features and products related to Alexa. You will develop early-stage concepts that help stakeholders and leaders understand the customer experience deeply. You will collaborate with engineers throughout the design process to ensure that your designs are feasible and aligned with technical capabilities. You will routinely partner with other designers across Alexa to adopt and extend existing design systems, contributing to Figma libraries and sharing your insights with your peers. You will also be responsible for incorporating insights from relevant Alexa research and conducting user research to validate your design decisions. Your work will directly impact how customers interact with Alexa, making their experiences more enjoyable and fulfilling.
