SingleStore is seeking a Principal Solutions Engineer to tackle cutting-edge technical challenges in the data-driven world. You'll partner with Account Executives to drive customer acquisition and create high-quality demos. This role requires experience in selling enterprise technologies, preferably databases or distributed systems.
You have a strong background in enterprise technologies, ideally with experience in databases or distributed systems. Your fluency in English and native proficiency in German enable you to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. You understand the technical requirements necessary to deliver business value and have a proven track record of successfully selling complex solutions to Fortune 1,000 customers. You are a trusted technical expert who can evaluate and demonstrate how SingleStore can meet mission-critical business needs. Your business acumen allows you to partner effectively with Account Executives to close new business and expand existing accounts.
Experience in designing and deploying Proofs of Concept (POCs) is a plus, as is familiarity with query tuning and load testing. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable partnering with internal teams, such as Product and Engineering, to share feedback on customer needs and requests. You are passionate about solving technical challenges and are eager to contribute to the growth and revenue of the company.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the technical evaluation stage of the sales cycle, acting as the technical lead and subject matter expert. You will partner with Account Executives to close new business and expand existing accounts, leveraging your technical skills to understand complex solutions. You will design, develop, and deploy Proofs of Concept (POCs) with prospective customers, showcasing how SingleStore can address their unique challenges. Your role will involve evaluating customer requirements and demonstrating the value of SingleStore's solutions through high-quality demos.
You will also collaborate closely with internal teams, including Product and Engineering, to provide insights on customer needs and feedback. Your contributions will directly impact the customer journey and the overall success of the sales organization. You will be a key player in helping SingleStore grow its customer base and enhance its market presence.
