MongoDB is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the Expansion Squad, focusing on digital growth for mid-market customers. You'll collaborate with various teams to drive product strategy and enhance user experiences. This role requires strong skills in data analysis and product management.
You have 5+ years of experience in product management, particularly in growth and user experience. You excel at turning ambiguous growth potential into actionable product strategies and understand how to leverage data to inform decisions. Your collaborative nature allows you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Design, Engineering, and Marketing, to drive product success. You are comfortable with metrics and analytics, using tools like SQL to derive insights that guide your product roadmap. You have a strong understanding of user journeys and can design features that enhance customer engagement and retention.
Experience in the tech industry, particularly with cloud-based products, is a plus. Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and lifecycle campaigns will help you align product initiatives with broader business goals. You are also open to learning new tools and methodologies that can enhance your product management skills.
In this role, you will own the Expansion product strategy and roadmap, defining segments, journeys, and experiments to drive account growth. You will ship features that eliminate friction for multi-app and multi-team organizations, such as project cloning and streamlined user invites. Your focus will be on building and iterating digital nudges that keep MongoDB top of mind for users, ensuring they have a seamless experience as they expand their usage. You will partner with Marketing on lifecycle campaigns and collaborate with Data Science to develop targeting models that identify opportunities for expansion. Instrumenting the user journey end-to-end will be crucial, as you will set clear events and funnels to track conversion metrics and deliver insights to the team. You will also work closely with Sales and Customer Success to ensure alignment between digital-led expansion and enterprise motions, facilitating smooth handoffs for sales-ready leads.
MongoDB provides a competitive salary range for this role, with a base salary between $118,000 and $231,000 USD.
