Amazon is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the product compatibility data strategy. You'll drive the development of data processing systems and collaborate with various teams to enhance customer experience. This role requires 10+ years of technical product management experience.

Who you are

You have over 10 years of experience in technical product management, demonstrating a strong ability to lead complex projects and initiatives. Your background includes a deep understanding of data strategies and how they can enhance customer experiences across various product categories. You excel in building relationships with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration in achieving strategic goals.

You possess a strong technical acumen, particularly in data processing systems, and are adept at defining and executing long-term strategies. Your leadership style is characterized by mentoring and guiding other product managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

You are data-driven, with a keen eye for establishing quality standards and implementing automated feedback loops to enhance product compatibility. Your experience includes working with diverse stakeholders, ensuring that product compatibility information is accurate and accessible to customers.

Desirable

Experience in e-commerce or marketplace environments is a plus, as is familiarity with customer behavior analytics. You have a track record of successfully launching products that improve user experience and drive customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

In this role, you will define and execute a 3-5 year strategic vision for Amazon's compatibility data generation and distribution strategy. You will lead the development of next-generation data processing systems that revolutionize how compatibility information is managed and served to customers. Your responsibilities will include driving integration with key Amazon shopping and personalization systems, ensuring that customers can easily find compatible products.

You will own relationships with critical internal partners across retail, catalog, and engineering teams, facilitating collaboration and alignment on product goals. Your role will also involve mentoring and providing technical leadership to other product managers, helping them grow in their careers and improve their product management skills.

You will establish data quality standards and drive continuous improvement through automated feedback loops, ensuring that the compatibility information provided to customers is accurate and reliable. Leading cross-functional initiatives involving multiple engineering teams will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you work to create systems that enhance the customer shopping experience.
