Apple is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for their Retail Foundations team to define the technical vision and design foundational frameworks and systems. You'll work with DevOps, CI/CD, and API/RPC technologies in Sunnyvale.
You have extensive experience in software engineering, particularly in architecting and designing foundational frameworks and systems that enhance developer productivity. Your background includes a strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based infrastructure, enabling you to improve the software development lifecycle effectively. You are skilled in creating and maintaining runtime environments and have a deep knowledge of service discovery and API/RPC gateways. Your expertise in observability tools allows you to ensure that systems are monitored and optimized for performance and reliability.
