Marketing Cloud Developer

 

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Marketing Cloud Developer with 5–6 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in AMPscript, SSJS, data extensions, and automation, along with a deep understanding of customer journeys and marketing automation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Build and customize Email Templates, Cloud Pages, Journeys, and Automations.
• Write and troubleshoot AMPscript and Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS) code.
• Design and implement data models using Data Extensions, Lists, and APIs.
• Integrate Marketing Cloud with other Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) and third-party platforms via REST and SOAP APIs.
• Develop and optimize Journey Builder workflows, Automation Studio processes, and Triggered Sends.
• Collaborate with marketing and CRM teams to define and execute campaign strategies.
• Perform QA, testing, and deployment of emails, SMS, and push notifications.
• Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5–6 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud development.
• Proficiency in AMPscript, SSJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of Marketing Cloud Connect, Data Extensions, and Subscriber Management.
• Experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Cloud Pages.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs for integration with external systems.
• Familiarity with SQL queries for segmentation and data extraction.
• Knowledge of marketing best practices, data privacy, and CAN-SPAM compliance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Developer, Marketing Cloud Email Specialist) are highly preferred.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Einstein features (e.g., Einstein Send Time Optimization, Engagement Scoring).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git.
