Google is seeking a Senior Field Sales Manager for the Public Sector to drive cloud technology growth. You'll leverage your experience in B2B sales and account management to lead teams and manage complex projects. This role requires 10 years of experience in cloud or software sales.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with a decade of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B software company. Your leadership experience includes people management, team lead roles, mentorship, or coaching. You have a proven track record of managing and leading teams, and you excel in working with cross-functional internal teams and external partners on complex implementation projects and negotiations. Your experience includes working with the Ontario provincial government and driving growth of cloud technologies in the public sector market. You possess the ability to manage business and commercial models while leading organizational transformations and delivering on results.
As a Field Sales Manager for Google Cloud, you will play a key role in understanding the needs of public sector customers and leading them through the entire business cycle. You will represent your territory in business planning, town halls, and team meetings, ensuring accurate and timely forecasting and business performance. Your responsibilities will include traveling to customer meetings, conferences, and other related events, acting as an advocate for Google Cloud and its products. You will collaborate with various teams to drive growth and ensure customer satisfaction, while also mentoring and developing your team members to achieve their full potential.
