Tekion is hiring a Software Engineer II to help architect and deliver internal frameworks for data ingestion and analytics. You'll work with technologies like Java, Machine Learning, and Big Data in Bangalore.
You have a solid background in software engineering with experience in building scalable systems — your expertise in Java and familiarity with cloud-native platforms will be essential in this role. You are passionate about data and have a keen interest in machine learning and AI, understanding how these technologies can transform industries. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and delivering the internal frameworks that power data ingestion and transformation across the company. You will work on building scalable, multi-tenant ingestion pipelines, including Change Data Capture (CDC) using Debezium. Your work will involve creating serving layers built on Trino and developing tooling that enables teams to move quickly without compromising on data quality. You will collaborate closely with data scientists and analysts to understand their needs and ensure that the infrastructure you build meets their requirements. You will also be involved in monitoring and maintaining the health of the data platform, ensuring that it operates efficiently and effectively.
