Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience leading software development programs.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • Experience in helping teams measure and improve operational excellence, product excellence, and accessibility.
  • Experience in Agile methodology.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The Google Cloud Business Platform teams are responsible for building and maintaining the engagement platforms that ensure information is consumed and processed in timely and efficient manners. The team leverages technologies that deliver a scalable, reliable, and extensible platform for direct, resellers, and marketplace users that can be easily adapted to the fast-changing landscape of Google Cloud.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Business Platform Product Management and Engineering) to shape the goals, strategy, and roadmap for Google Cloud.
  • Analyze processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and define requirements through global cross-functional partnerships.
  • Assist product and engineering teams to measure and improve product excellence.
  • Identify areas of opportunity for process improvement and solutions, encourage best practices with global stakeholders to deliver a positive experience to customers.
  • Drive improvements to the technical programs by capturing and sharing best practices learned from customer engagements.
