We are seeking a talented Program Manager to join our Ops Excellence team to play an instrumental role in the evolution of our EU External Fulfilment (EF) network.
With 30+ sites under scope operated by 3PLs, EF provides network capacity solve, special fulfilment, and market expansion solutions across EU7.
As a program manager within EF Ops Excellence, you will own a workstream (can be Inbound, CX, Transportation, Relo, ...) and implement independently projects that will drive performance improvement at network level, with a very high impact.
Ultimate goal is to develop at scale EU EF Operations with best in class operational execution in EU and ultimately in other regions across the globe.
Key job responsibilities
As EF OE Program Manager, you will have a high impact pan-EU role responsible for standardizing and improving the way our 3PL-operated sites operate.
The candidate will own 1 or 2 workstreams fully, and will be accountable for the good performance of our sites on a range of KPIs while driving and delivering projects to structurally change the way we operate. Candiate will also be the central POC representing EF with all central teams, based on the workstream.
Examples of projects our team is driving is:
- Inbound: drive increase of efficient receive process in our 3PLs
- Sortation: implement smart SPG sortation to increase sortation capabilities of our sites
- Assets: roll-out carts to replace pallets in Outbound
- Packaging: roll-out paperbags in our 3PLs
- Concessions: set-up a feedback mechanisms with commercial carriers on root causes for concessions
- Transportation: standardize the fillrate assumption mechanism through data-driven approach
- Relo: implement Grading process in EU 3PLs
- and many many more...
The position requires frequent visit to our 3PLs, around 20% travel time.
About the team
The EU Ops Excellence (OE) team drives cross-functional projects and programs to support the External fulfillment organization.
Our work pivots around three main workstreams:
(1) supporting the launch and expansion of the EU EF network
(2) developing scalable solutions to improve the performance and the quality of the network,
(3) providing business intelligence via data mining and visualization.
The ultimate goal is to industrialize external fulfillment solutions (3PLs) pushing for the integration of Amazon tools, process and best practices so that it can easily scale and reach parity with the Amazon core FCs network.• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Bachelor's degree or Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
• Operational experience (a plus is Inbound, Relo workstreams)
• Proven track record of delivering solutions/mechanisms to problems based on data. • • Successful implementation of process improvements & simplifications.
• MS Office skills, particularly in Excel & BI skills (SQL).
• Experience working with external stakeholders.• Ability to influence stakeholders by leveraging mastery of data and Amazon systems
• Ability to remove barriers for your team by providing rapid solutions to problems
• Ability to prioritize, manage and execute assignments on a tight schedule
• Ability to adapt well to rapidly changing circumstances, directions and strategies
• Ability to handle demanding stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment.
