SeatGeek is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design and build ML infrastructure that operates at scale. You'll work with Python, TensorFlow, and AWS to optimize ticket pricing and enhance user experience. This role requires strong experience in machine learning and cloud technologies.
You have 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a strong background in building production-ready ML systems. You are proficient in Python and have hands-on experience with frameworks like TensorFlow and Keras, enabling you to develop and deploy complex models effectively. Your familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, allows you to leverage scalable infrastructure for machine learning applications. You understand the intricacies of data pipelines and have experience with tools like MLflow for managing the ML lifecycle. Your knowledge of databases, especially PostgreSQL, helps you manage and query large datasets efficiently. You are comfortable working in collaborative environments, engaging with data scientists and software engineers to translate research into practical solutions. You are passionate about solving real-world problems, particularly in the ticketing industry, and are eager to tackle challenges such as pricing optimization and fraud detection.
Experience with Apache Spark is a plus, as it can enhance your ability to process large datasets and build real-time inference pipelines. Familiarity with Docker will aid in containerizing your ML applications, ensuring consistency across development and production environments. You are also open to exploring new technologies and methodologies that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of ML systems.
In this role, you will design, build, and deploy machine learning models and systems that operate reliably at scale in production. You will be responsible for building and maintaining ML infrastructure, including feature stores and model serving platforms, to support the deployment of machine learning models. Collaborating closely with product engineering teams, you will work alongside data scientists and PMs to translate experimental models into production-ready systems. You will solve complex technical challenges unique to the ticketing industry, such as real-time pricing optimization and demand forecasting. Additionally, you will develop automated ML pipelines for training, validation, and deployment, ensuring that the models are continuously improved and updated based on new data and insights. Your work will directly impact how millions of fans discover and purchase tickets, enhancing their overall experience with SeatGeek.
