Axon is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to ensure accurate revenue and cost of goods sold through analytical procedures. You have a strong background in accounting with a focus on revenue recognition and cost analysis. Your experience includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You possess excellent analytical skills and can perform detailed reviews of financial data to ensure accuracy. Experience with financial software and reporting tools is a plus. Familiarity with the technology sector and its unique financial challenges will help you excel in this role. A CPA or equivalent certification would be beneficial but is not mandatory.
As a Senior Revenue Accountant at Axon, you will take ownership of the revenue accounting process, ensuring that all revenue is recognized in accordance with applicable standards. You will work closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis team to provide insights into revenue trends and forecasts.
You will conduct monthly and quarterly reviews of revenue and cost of goods sold, identifying discrepancies and ensuring that all financial data is accurate. Your analytical skills will be crucial in developing reports that provide visibility into the company's financial performance.
Collaboration is key in this role, as you will partner with the information technology department to enhance reporting capabilities and streamline processes. You will also engage with other departments to ensure that all aspects of the order-to-cash cycle are functioning smoothly and efficiently.
