Overview

Samsara is seeking a Public Sector Major Account Executive to drive revenue growth in new and existing major accounts. This role requires a strong understanding of physical operations and the ability to impact industries that are vital to the global economy.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in managing major accounts and driving revenue growth. Your experience in the public sector or related industries will enable you to understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with these accounts. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. You are adept at understanding customer needs and translating them into actionable strategies that drive success. Your ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams will be key in delivering value to your clients.

You are results-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You have a strategic mindset and can identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts while also pursuing new business. Your analytical skills enable you to assess market trends and adapt your approach accordingly.

Desirable

Experience in the Internet of Things (IoT) space or related technology sectors would be a plus. Familiarity with the challenges faced by industries such as agriculture, construction, and transportation will help you connect with clients on a deeper level. A background in consultative selling or solution-based sales will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

What you'll do

As a Public Sector Major Account Executive at Samsara, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by managing relationships with major accounts. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and challenges, providing them with tailored solutions that leverage Samsara's Connected Operations™ Cloud platform. Your efforts will directly contribute to improving the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.
