Skillshare is seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to execute retention strategies and manage campaigns. You'll work with data analysis and marketing tools to enhance user engagement. This role requires strong operational skills and experience in lifecycle marketing.

Who you are

You have a detail-oriented mindset and are operationally driven, with experience in lifecycle marketing that allows you to effectively execute retention strategies. You understand the importance of data analysis in crafting strategic project plans and are skilled in writing compelling copy that resonates with audiences. Your familiarity with marketing automation tools, particularly Blueshift, enables you to manage campaigns efficiently and ensure they are targeted accurately and launched on time. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with senior marketing leaders to bring creative visions to life while maintaining a focus on operational excellence. You are adaptable and can manage your time effectively, especially in a flexible contract role that requires 20-30 hours per week initially.

Desirable

Experience with A/B testing and user segmentation would be beneficial, as would familiarity with email marketing strategies and customer journey mapping. A background in creative industries or education technology can enhance your understanding of Skillshare's mission and audience.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for executing lifecycle marketing campaigns that drive user retention and engagement. You will analyze data to inform your strategies, ensuring that campaigns are not only well-targeted but also aligned with the overall marketing goals of Skillshare. You will collaborate with the Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager to understand the high-level roadmap and translate it into actionable plans. Your role will involve crafting copy for various marketing channels, ensuring that messaging is consistent and compelling. You will also manage the technical aspects of campaign execution within Blueshift, monitoring performance and making adjustments as necessary to optimize results. As you transition into a full-time role, you will take on additional responsibilities, including leading projects and mentoring junior team members.
