Job Description

The Amazon Marketplace offers millions of Sellers the opportunity to build and grow their business using Amazon’s reach and expertise. Sellers are a critical part of Amazon’s ecosystem to deliver on our vision of offering the Earth’s largest selection and lowest prices.

In EU, we continue to observe an unprecedented wave of legislation that impacts Seller experience, constrains selection and jeopardizes growth. This increases the complexity and cost of selling in EU and makes compliance the primary barrier to Seller launches in the region. The EU 3P Compliance team specializes in driving compliance across these broad set of legislations and simplifying the Seller experience of complying with these legislations, using a combination of product development and seller engagement. Our goal is to enable Sellers continue selling across EU and UK.

As a Product Ops Manager in the EU 3P Compliance team, you will be responsible for leading product implementation ensuring Amazon’s compliance with authority requirements in the EU.

Key job responsibilities
- Track and monitor metrics for key features launched, and drive feature adoption where required in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
- Share updates against goals and initiatives across broader leadership forums (weekly/monthly/quarterly and annual plans)
- Identify opportunities to invent and simplify and work with the product and tech teams to initiatives in the product roadmap; work with partner teams to processes and drive improvements in Processes
- Analyze data and seller feedback to identify gaps in existing reporting products, drive targeted improvements, and reduce Seller contact rates
- Drive roll-out, dial-up, and testing of improved Seller product features across multiple regions, technical systems, and organizations

A day in the life
As the Product Ops Manager on our services, you will be part of a dynamic team which is the backbone of this vision to build a global marketplace. You will be responsible for improving workflows and processes enabling us to simplify and improve our seller experience in the Compliance space. You will work closely with product, program, marketing, and Tech teams towards ideation as well as implementation of key features and work with stakeholder teams to drive initiatives to delight our selling partners.

About the team
Our team is part of Amazon's EU 3P Compliance organization, focused on ensuring Tax and Trade compliance for third-party sellers operating on Amazon's European marketplaces. We protect both Amazon and our sellers from Tax/Trade-related risks while maintaining a great seller experience.- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA is preferred
- Basic SQL/Python knowledge or data self-sufficiency for carrying out day to day jobs
- Experience in driving large, cross-functional programs, strong program and project management experience
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly- Prior experience working with technical products, analytics, or online services
- Track record for delivering results in fast-moving and demanding environments
- Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems, showing a track record of making business decisions using relevant data and insights
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities, preferably in a multi-organizational setting
- Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level
