Who you are

You are a Commercial Real Estate Attorney with over 5 years of significant transactional experience, ideally in an in-house environment. Your expertise includes complex commercial real estate matters such as real estate finance, leasing, acquisitions, and sales. You have a strong background in advising corporate clients directly and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal business partners and stakeholders. Your experience spans various industries, including retail, restaurant/hospitality, industrial, and energy, with a preference for retail real estate and commercial. You are capable of working independently and cross-functionally, taking on complex projects with ease. Junior and mid-level lawyers with energy exposure are encouraged to apply, and experience with construction agreements is a plus. You hold an active bar license in good standing in the state where you currently reside.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work with some of the world’s largest companies across multiple industries, tackling complex legal challenges on a global scale. You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating real estate finance documents while supporting internal client teams. Your role will involve advising corporate clients on various commercial real estate matters, ensuring that their interests are protected throughout the transaction process. You will maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal business partners and stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and understanding of legal requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating leasing, purchases and sales, REIT, residential, property management, and landlord/tenant disputes. You will also have the opportunity to engage with complex projects that require a deep understanding of the commercial real estate landscape.
