Who you are

You have extensive experience in product design, particularly in creating and managing design systems — your portfolio showcases your ability to craft user-centered designs that enhance collaboration between designers and engineers. You understand the nuances of scaling design systems across diverse platforms and have a keen eye for detail that ensures quality at every stage of the design process.

Your background includes working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to align design strategies with business goals — you thrive in environments where collaboration and shared success are paramount. You are passionate about fostering inclusivity in design, ensuring that your work resonates with a global audience.

You possess a strong understanding of user experience principles and have a track record of implementing design systems that improve efficiency and consistency — your ability to communicate design concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels is one of your key strengths. You are also adept at using design tools like Figma to create high-fidelity prototypes that effectively convey your vision.

Desirable

Experience in the gaming industry or with gaming-related design systems would be a significant advantage — familiarity with the unique challenges and opportunities in this space will help you drive meaningful evolutions to the Hawkins design system. A passion for storytelling and understanding of how design can enhance user engagement in games will set you apart.

You will own and define the long-term vision for the Games design system, ensuring it scales effectively to meet evolving organizational needs.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional leadership to drive the creative architecture that supports emerging identities within the gaming space — your insights will help differentiate Netflix's offerings in a competitive market. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior designers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team.

Your role will involve regular engagement with product teams to gather feedback and iterate on design solutions — you will champion user-centered design principles, ensuring that the needs of Netflix's diverse membership are at the forefront of your work. You will also participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and contributing to the continuous improvement of the design process.
