Vestwell is seeking a Senior Specialist, Plan Documents to assist the Operations team in managing plan document drafting and related projects. This role requires experience with plan design and document services in the retirement FinTech space.
You have several years of experience working with sponsors, recordkeepers, and third-party administrators (TPAs) in the retirement sector. Your background includes supporting plan design and plan document services for both qualified and non-qualified plans. You are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of the regulatory landscape affecting retirement plans. You are passionate about improving the retirement savings experience for individuals and businesses alike.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. Your communication skills allow you to effectively convey complex information to various stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is aligned and informed. You are proactive in identifying challenges and developing solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
Experience with financial technology platforms is a plus, as is familiarity with the latest trends in retirement savings and benefits. You may have a background in compliance or legal aspects related to retirement plans, which would further enhance your ability to contribute to the team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the drafting, amendment, and restatement of plan documents. You will collaborate closely with the Operations team to ensure that all documents meet regulatory requirements and align with Vestwell's mission to empower retirement savings. Your work will involve reviewing and updating existing plan documents to reflect changes in regulations and best practices.
You will also engage with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance their retirement offerings. This may include conducting training sessions for internal teams and clients on plan document services and compliance requirements. You will play a key role in ensuring that Vestwell's offerings remain competitive and compliant in the ever-evolving financial landscape.
Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of the Operations team and the satisfaction of our clients. You will be expected to stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes, bringing insights back to the team to inform our strategies and processes.
