Point72 is hiring a Software Engineer for their Middle Office Technology team to design and develop large-scale, fault-tolerant systems. You'll work with C#/.NET Core, Azure, and SQL Server in New York. This position requires experience in cloud infrastructure and software development.
You have a strong background in software engineering with experience in designing and developing large-scale, fault-tolerant systems. Your expertise in C# and .NET Core allows you to create high-performance, scalable software solutions that meet business needs. You are familiar with cloud infrastructure, particularly Azure and AWS, and have experience using Terraform for infrastructure management. Your knowledge of SQL Server enables you to design and optimize databases to support application requirements and ensure data integrity. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver impactful solutions. You stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying this knowledge to enhance existing systems.
Experience in the finance sector, particularly with equity and macro asset classes, is a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies and open-source solutions will help you thrive in our innovative environment.
