Overview

Uber is hiring an Account Executive for SMB Acquisition to drive the growth of the Uber Eats business in Australia. You'll be responsible for acquiring quality restaurant partners and ensuring a compelling merchant experience. This role requires strong sales skills and a strategic approach to partner acquisition.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with experience in the end-to-end sales cycle. You understand the unique challenges faced by local restaurant partners and can articulate a compelling value proposition that resonates with them. Your ability to build trust and act as a trusted advisor is key to your success in this role. You are strategic in your approach, focusing on acquiring high-value merchants that will enhance the Uber Eats marketplace.

Desirable

Experience in the food delivery or restaurant industry is a plus, as is familiarity with the Australian market. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on your goals. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to effectively engage with partners and internal stakeholders alike.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the full acquisition cycle for Australia's highest priority local restaurant partners. You will be responsible for identifying potential partners, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the onboarding process. Your strategic mindset will help you prioritize which merchants to target, ensuring that you focus on those that will provide the greatest impact on the Uber Eats platform.

You will act as the voice of the customer, advocating for their needs and ensuring that their experience with Uber Eats is seamless and positive. By building strong relationships with restaurant partners, you will help drive their success on the platform, which in turn will contribute to the overall growth of Uber Eats in Australia.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with various teams within Uber to ensure that the needs of your partners are met. You will also be expected to provide feedback and insights from your interactions with partners to help shape the future of the Uber Eats business.
