Coupang is hiring a Safety Manager to oversee EHS-related tasks at their logistics centers in Paju and Ilsan. You'll be responsible for accident prevention, safety training, and compliance with safety regulations.
You hold a bachelor's degree or higher in a safety-related field and possess at least three years of experience in safety management. You are certified as a safety manager or have a legal qualification in safety management. Your background includes experience in logistics, manufacturing, or construction safety management, which is preferred but not mandatory. You are committed to fostering a culture of safety and compliance within the workplace, ensuring that all employees can work in a safe environment.
In this role, you will develop and implement safety training plans for employees at the logistics centers. You will conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and identify areas for improvement. You will investigate the causes of workplace accidents and provide technical guidance to prevent future incidents. Additionally, you will facilitate safety committee meetings and ensure that safety management regulations are adhered to. Your role will also involve advising on the selection of safety equipment and machinery, ensuring that all tools and equipment meet safety standards.
