Schonfeld is seeking a Product Controller to join their P&L Valuations team in London. You'll be responsible for P&L reporting and reconciliations for OTC Derivatives, requiring strong knowledge of valuations and advanced Excel skills.
You have a bachelor's degree and 5 - 8 years of experience in Valuations/Product Control, demonstrating a strong knowledge of OTC derivatives including valuation and workflow. Your experience includes analyzing and reporting on P&L, with a particular focus on the Greeks. You possess advanced Excel skills and have a strong sense of ownership, consistently delivering results. Your excellent communication skills enable you to interact confidently with various stakeholders across the firm.
Experience with Front Office systems such as Clarion and in-house systems like Geneva is a plus. Familiarity with automation processes and a proactive approach to investigating valuation differences will set you apart.
In this role, you will oversee pricing and P&L processes, ensuring reconciliation across the Front Office, shadow accounting, and Fund Administration. You will collaborate closely with global departments to ensure accurate T+1 and monthly P&L reporting. Your responsibilities will include investigating valuation differences and explaining these to stakeholders, as well as setting up new products and automating processes to enhance the control environment. You will be involved in relevant projects that contribute to the overall efficiency and accuracy of the P&L reporting process.
