Samsara is hiring an Account Executive for their Mid Market team to drive sales and bring IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. This role involves managing trials and negotiations with stakeholders. Experience in sales is essential.
You have a strong background in sales, ideally with experience in technology or IoT solutions. You thrive in a role where you can engage with mid-sized customers, helping them understand the value of sensor data and how it can transform their operations. You are comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and navigating complex sales processes, including proof of concepts and pricing negotiations. You are results-driven and enjoy the challenge of meeting sales targets while building long-term relationships with clients. You are willing to travel approximately 25% of the time to meet with customers and prospects, demonstrating your commitment to driving business growth.
In this role, you will be responsible for building Samsara's business within the mid-market segment. You will engage with potential customers to showcase the benefits of our Connected Operations™ Cloud platform, which leverages IoT data to enhance operational efficiency. You will conduct product demonstrations and manage trials, ensuring that customers see the value of our solutions firsthand. You will negotiate pricing and contracts, working closely with executives and CXOs to close deals that range from $20k to $100k. Your ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients will be key to your success in this position. You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure that customer feedback is integrated into our product development process, helping to shape the future of our offerings.
