Microsoft is seeking a Senior Hardware Design Engineer to design and develop hardware platforms for various applications including Storage, Compute, and AI. You'll work with technologies such as Azure, C, and C++. This position requires significant experience in hardware design.
You have 5+ years of experience in hardware design engineering, with a strong background in developing high-speed hardware platforms. Your expertise includes working with C and C++ for embedded systems, and you are familiar with Azure technologies that support cloud infrastructure. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy tackling complex engineering challenges. Your experience with ASIC design and data processing units (DPUs) positions you well to contribute to innovative solutions in cloud hardware.
You possess a deep understanding of hardware-software integration, enabling you to create efficient designs that meet performance and reliability standards. You are passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance data processing capabilities and improve overall system efficiency. Your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly makes you an effective collaborator with cross-functional teams.
Experience with embedded Linux and familiarity with data center operations would be advantageous. Knowledge of security and compliance standards in hardware design is a plus, as is any experience with AI applications in hardware development.
As a Senior Hardware Design Engineer at Microsoft, you will be responsible for the design and development of hardware platforms that support various applications, including Storage, Compute, and AI.
