Google is seeking a Senior Vendor Manager for their Business Development team in Singapore. You'll manage vendor operations and drive strategy while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires 7+ years of experience in vendor management and project management skills.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 7 years of experience in vendor management, operations, or business management. Your background includes using analytics and applying project management tools effectively. You have experience managing vendor operations and working with globally managed service providers, demonstrating your ability to set and drive vendor strategy, process improvement, and commercial negotiations.
Your communication skills are excellent, allowing you to influence across multiple levels of the organization and regions. You excel at defining projects, executing within timelines, and navigating ambiguity. Handling multiple conflicting priorities and stakeholder issues is second nature to you, and you drive pragmatic decisions and actions to deliver continuous improvement across operations.
In this role, you will play a key part in the Japan and Asia Pacific (JAPAC) Business Development sales organization, contributing to the Customer Experience organization. You will lead business development sales across the Corporate segment, directing trusted regional suppliers to deliver exceptional business results through vendor representatives while ensuring an outstanding experience for customers and prospects.
Your work will be critical for the organization to meet or exceed sales and growth targets. You will oversee service operations, including vendor selection, forecasting, contract management, and budget planning. Acting as the primary escalation point for all vendor-related performance and relationship issues, you will partner with internal teams to find effective solutions.
Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders will be essential as you manage complex projects and overcome operational challenges from concept to launch. You will ensure that vendor operations align with the overall business strategy and contribute to the success of Google Cloud's mission to accelerate every organization's ability to digitally transform.
