Databricks is hiring a Scale Solution Engineer to assist customers in onboarding and deploying their Data Intelligence platform. You'll work with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP and programming languages such as Python, Scala, or SQL. This role is ideal for early-career technical professionals in data-driven environments.
You are an early-career technical professional with a background in data-driven or cloud-based roles. You hold an undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or have relevant experience. You possess knowledge of at least one public cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and are familiar with programming languages including Python, Scala, or SQL. You understand the end-to-end data analytics workflow and have hands-on experience with Data Engineering technologies like ETL, DBT, Spark, or Airflow. Your excellent time management and prioritization skills enable you to handle multiple tasks effectively, and you communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal forms.
You have a bonus knowledge of Data Science and Machine Learning, particularly in building and deploying ML models. This will enhance your ability to guide customers in making informed technical decisions.
As a Scale Solution Engineer at Databricks, you will play a critical role in advising customers during their onboarding journey. You will work directly with customers to help them onboard and deploy Databricks in their production environments. Your primary focus will be to ensure that new customers have an excellent experience by providing them with technical assistance early in their journey. You will become an expert on the Databricks Platform, guiding customers in making the best technical decisions to achieve their goals. You will track and report the progress of multiple tactical customers, ensuring they are on the right path to success with the platform.
