Microsoft is hiring a Water and Wastewater Program Manager to oversee the planning and development of water and wastewater infrastructure for datacenters. This role requires strong project management skills and collaboration with various stakeholders.
You have a strong background in project management, particularly in the context of infrastructure development. Your experience includes managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects that require coordination across various teams and stakeholders. You are adept at navigating regulatory environments and have a solid understanding of water and wastewater systems. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to engage effectively with legal, design, construction, and operations teams. You are detail-oriented and can manage multiple priorities while ensuring on-time delivery of critical infrastructure projects. You thrive in collaborative environments and are committed to driving efficiency and effectiveness in utility development processes.
In this role, you will manage the due diligence process for wet utilities, ensuring that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained in a timely manner. You will support the enablement of offsite water and wastewater infrastructure during various phases of datacenter projects, from site acquisition through to construction. Your responsibilities will include regular engagement with key stakeholders to align on project goals and timelines. You will be instrumental in developing strategies that eliminate gaps between teams and enhance the overall utility development process. You will also be responsible for tracking project progress and reporting on key milestones to ensure that all objectives are met.
