The Vision Products Software team is looking for a Senior AI Applications Engineer to help us push the limits on the next generation of interactive computing for our platform. This team is working with some of Apple's most advanced technologies including augmented reality (AR), machine learning (ML) and computer vision (CV). As a senior member of our organization you will drive exploration of future products that will delight, inspire and empower millions of people This role involves developing the underlying systems and frameworks that power cutting edge vision-based experiences, working closely with many cross functional teams while ensuring user privacy and system performance across an ecosystem of devices. Engineers are expected to work quickly and creatively to help determine the viability of ideas and technologies while building robust, production-ready systems that millions of users will depend on. You will need to be comfortable writing Swift code, evaluating AI/ML algorithms for on-device integration, collaborating on user experience design, debugging complex cross-device interactions, and mentoring team members on shipping discipline and production-quality development practices.
