Deliveroo is hiring an Expense Specialist to manage employee expenses and improve processes. You'll work with Netsuite and Jira in a hybrid role based in London.
You have experience in a fast-paced environment and are motivated to take responsibility for your work. You understand the importance of deadlines and are eager to make improvements in processes. Your ability to provide quality customer service to stakeholders is essential, as you will be the first point of contact for internal and external audit queries. You are comfortable working with multiple currencies and have a keen eye for detail when approving expense claims according to company policies.
Experience with Netsuite and Jira is a plus, as you will be using these tools to manage expense queries and liaise with internal teams. A proactive mindset and a willingness to train new employees on the expenses system will help you succeed in this role.
As an Expense Specialist at Deliveroo, you will report to the Senior Expense Lead and be responsible for managing all employee expenses. You will approve global employee business expense claims in accordance with the T&E Policy, ensuring compliance and accuracy. Your role will involve working with multiple currencies within the Netsuite database, which requires a strong understanding of financial processes. You will also handle expense queries via our help desk software, Jira, providing timely and effective responses to stakeholders.
In addition to managing expenses, you will be responsible for training new employees on the expenses system, ensuring they are equipped to navigate the processes effectively. You will liaise with our internal Netsuite team to resolve user-facing issues, continuously challenging the way we work and identifying areas for improvement. Ad-hoc duties may arise, and your ability to adapt and take ownership of your work will be crucial.
