Google is seeking a Chief of Staff for their Search Intelligence team to drive strategy and operations. You'll leverage your extensive experience in management consulting and analytics, working closely with product and engineering teams. This role requires 15 years of experience and strong analytical skills.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 15 years of experience in management consulting, product management, and strategy within a technology company. Your background includes working with and analyzing data, managing multiple cross-functional programs, and executing operational efficiency. You have a proven track record in business strategy and decision-making, as well as experience in transforming organizations. An advanced degree is preferred, and you are skilled in using analytics tools such as R and SQL. Your experience includes collaborating with product and engineering teams, and you have acted as a Chief of Staff or been part of a Chief of Staff team. You excel in leading organizational transformation and large-scale change management, and your communication skills are top-notch.
In this role, you will partner with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut existing organizations and deliver high-impact projects. You will help drive operational rhythms and key processes, including engineering leadership forums and offsites. Acting as a proxy for the VP of Engineering when needed, you will use your judgment and discretion to unblock decisions with velocity and represent the organization in cross-functional and technical forums. You will own critical, undefined problem spaces and take ambiguous challenges, driving them from concept to execution. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans, and connecting the operating lines between functions. You will work closely with various teams to ensure optimal execution of products and infrastructure, pushing Google to scale at key points.
