Job Description

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) has been rapidly expanding its delivery network across Japan. To overcome its organizational challenges and enable its growth, AMZL HR team is looking for a Sr HR Program Manager who is enthusiastic to make things easier for their stakeholders, to design and execute solutions for various people agendas while has fun in the processes.

In this role, you are responsible for identifying potential projects, evaluating the priorities and feasibility of them, making consensus with stakeholders including senior management, and finally implementing the initiatives. Over the course of actions, you will be required to be both strategic and hands-on. You will also drive HR functional excellence and improvement in various areas such as performance management, talent development, compensation & benefits and DEI (diversity, equity and Inclusion), etc. The position will provide an excellent opportunities to learn and contribute in wide domain of HR and to work with diverse range of stakeholders, including HR, business, legal, finance and global peers.

As AMZL organization has international and diverse employee bodies and your counterparts can be outside Japan. Therefore, you will be required to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to influence stakeholders both inside and outside Japan. You will work in a rapidly changing environment, so you are required to deal with ambiguity and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. The job also needs the ability to make decisions amongst stakeholders with different interests. You must have strong work ethic, desire to achieve excellence, and passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement.

Key job responsibilities
- Prepare and facilitate talent reviews and HR meetings with senior leaders.
- Find opportunities in AMZL organization through interacting with colleagues or analyzing data, and launch/drive initiatives to address them.
- Monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of initiatives and facilitate the discussions to achieve desired outcomes
- Help field HR team by providing new HR initiatives and streamlining existing processes.
- Interact with senior leaders to educate them on new initiatives and get buy-in.- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Business level Japanese and English.
- 8+ years of work experience

- 5+ years of HR professional experience.
- 3+ years of program/project management experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills including compiling complex documents and making presentation to senior management.
- Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and analytic skill.
- Ability to deal with ambiguous situations in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle high volume tasks and not be afraid to “roll up your sleeves”
- Global/Cross-cultural experience.
