Carvana is seeking an Automotive Paint Prepper to join their team in Trenton, OH. You'll be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting, including tasks like priming and sanding. This role requires at least 1 year of professional automotive painting experience.
You have a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive painting experience and are eager to join Carvana, the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history. As an Automotive Paint Prepper, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for cosmetic paintwork, which includes priming, sanding, and buffing. You are detail-oriented and take pride in your work, ensuring that every vehicle meets high standards before it is painted. You are also open to learning and growing within the company, as Carvana offers training programs to help you advance your skills and pay.
Experience with paint mixing and airbrush techniques is a plus, as you will be expected to perform these tasks in your role. A valid driver’s license is required, and you must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. You are a team player who values collaboration and communication in a fast-paced environment.
In your role as an Automotive Paint Prepper, you will prepare vehicles for painting by performing tasks such as priming, final sanding, and buffing. You will also be responsible for paint mixing and touch-up work to ensure that every vehicle is ready for the final paint application. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you work with state-of-the-art tools in one of Carvana's high-tech Inspection Centers. You will collaborate with other team members to ensure that the painting process runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the company.
