Overview

Affirm is seeking a Senior Director of Brand Marketing to lead the evolution of its brand identity. You'll collaborate with various teams to create impactful campaigns and storytelling. This role requires strong leadership and strategic vision in brand marketing.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in brand marketing, with at least 7-10 years of experience leading teams and developing brand strategies that resonate with consumers. Your expertise lies in transforming static brand identities into dynamic, engaging narratives that drive consumer connection and loyalty. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure brand coherence across all channels. You possess strong storytelling skills, enabling you to convey complex ideas in a clear and compelling manner. You are comfortable with data-driven decision-making and understand how to leverage insights to inform brand strategies. You are a visionary leader who inspires creativity and innovation within your team, fostering an environment where bold ideas can flourish.

Desirable

Experience in the fintech or e-commerce sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with digital marketing strategies and tools. A background in design or creative direction can enhance your ability to guide the Brand & Creative team effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead Affirm's Brand & Creative team, uniting design, writing, and brand storytelling under a cohesive vision. You will evolve Affirm's brand from a static identity into a living, adaptive system that generates campaigns and guides product experiences. Your leadership will help transform the brand & creative team into a cultural and creative leader within Affirm, ensuring that every story, campaign, and cultural moment feels unmistakably Affirm. You will build strong connections across Brand, Communications, Product Marketing, and Partner Marketing teams to ensure coherence in how Affirm presents itself across all touchpoints. You will develop bold marketing strategies that resonate with consumers and drive engagement, while also mentoring and developing your team to reach their full potential.
