Sous Chef

Who you are

You have experience as a Sous Chef in high-volume environments, demonstrating a strong focus on food presentation and quality. You understand the importance of delivering exceptional client service and are committed to maintaining high culinary standards. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with others in the kitchen and can effectively manage staff in the absence of the Head Chef. You are adaptable and willing to work outside of normal hours for special events, ensuring that all meals are prepared and served on time.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of food in accordance with the company's standards. You will assist the Head Chef in planning and costing menus, ensuring that all dishes meet the required quality and presentation standards. You will also manage the back of house food service team, providing training and support to kitchen staff. Your role will involve working closely with the general manager to recruit new team members and implement training programs. You will be expected to build strong working relationships with other areas of the venue team and support client events as needed.
