Job Description

In this role, you will bolster reporting around new launch risks including weekly project updates, drive parity in documentation processes across all the last mile business unit within WWE&I org, and take on additional special projects, including compiling documents for deep-dive request and producing executive level reporting. Your impact will span multiple business areas, influencing how we operate and grow.

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience in project management, and a proven track record of using data to drive decision-making and process improvements. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role.

Key job responsibilities
An effective Launch Program Manager is committed to supporting core organizational pillars by focusing their efforts in five strategic areas: (1) Business Enablement, (2) Launch Delivery, (3) Standardization & Compliance, (4) Process Benchmarking, Parity & Improvement, and (5) Strategic Growth. By concentrating on these areas, the LPM will drive organizational excellence contributing to ongoing success through:

• Lead multiple stakeholder teams to develop site level project timelines.
• Solve complex problems that pose risk to project delivery and key milestones through inquisitive deep dives with stakeholder Subject Matter Expert (SME) input.
• Clearly communicate project and program issues and challenges to senior leaders in writing and via in-person/ remote meetings.
• Prioritizing and managing multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with business partners and stakeholders


A day in the life
As a Launch Program Manager, your day revolves around coordinating projects and driving data-driven decisions. You lead weekly reviews with diverse stakeholders, analyze project data, and track project milestones. You collaborate with Planning Managers, Engineering teams, and operations to understand requirements and solve problems. Your role involves revamping control plans, mitigating risks, and improving processes. You spend time writing documentation, updating project management tools, and facilitating communication between teams. Your day is a dynamic mix of strategic planning, problem-solving, and stakeholder management, all aimed at optimizing planning processes to support operations.

Our team thrives on taking initiative, driving improvements, and ensuring seamless execution of Last Mile projects through data-driven decision-making and effective stakeholder management.- 4+ years of program or project management experience
- 4+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams- 4+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 4+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
