What you'll do

As a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for all aspects of operations at the Fulfillment Center. This includes managing a team of Operations and Area Managers, ensuring that they meet performance objectives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will drive the creation of quality initiatives and process change initiatives, enabling your functional area to meet and exceed business plans.

You will set and clarify requirements and expectations for your team, measuring performance and providing feedback to hold them accountable. Your proactive approach will ensure that best practices are shared across all departments and shifts, enhancing operational efficiency. You will work closely with support staff to build and secure resources for projects, ensuring that your team has the support needed to succeed.

Your role will also involve collaborating with other Senior Operations Managers to share insights and strategies that benefit the entire network. You will take the lead in developing leadership bench strength within your team, coaching and mentoring your managers to prepare them for future challenges and opportunities.
