Uber is hiring a Senior Strategy & Planning Associate for Uber Direct in London. You'll work on last-mile delivery strategies and conduct advanced data analysis to support business growth. This role requires strong analytical skills and a broad understanding of business operations.
You have a strong background in strategy and planning, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to work confidently with data and conduct advanced analyses that inform business decisions. You excel at breaking down complex topics into clear insights and actionable strategies, making you a valuable thought partner to leadership teams.
You are comfortable working cross-functionally, collaborating with various teams across the organization to build a cohesive narrative around the business. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels ensures that you can report on the status of the business both tactically and strategically. You thrive in environments where you can propose and analyze strategies that align with company goals, and you are adept at supervising both internal and external factors that influence business decisions.
Experience in last-mile delivery or logistics is a plus, as is familiarity with the EMEA market. You have a proactive mindset and are always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the growth of Uber Direct, a fast-growing business line focused on last-mile delivery across various verticals. You will work closely with EMEA Direct leadership, reporting to the Global head of Strategy & Planning. Your primary focus will be on conducting advanced data analysis to understand business trajectories and challenges, providing insights that drive decision-making.
You will take the lead in building the narrative of the Direct business, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed about the status and progress of initiatives. This includes preparing reports and presentations for leadership teams that highlight key metrics and strategic recommendations. You will also be tasked with proposing new strategies and business plans that align with the company's goals, leveraging your understanding of the internal and external environment.
Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work cross-functionally with teams across Uber to ensure that all aspects of the business are aligned and moving towards common objectives. Your ability to synthesize information and present it clearly will be crucial in driving the success of Uber Direct.
