Amazon is seeking a Senior Workplace Health & Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives in their logistics operations. You'll be responsible for developing safety plans and ensuring compliance with WHS policies. This role requires significant experience in workplace safety management.
You have extensive experience in workplace health and safety management, ideally with a focus on logistics or operational environments. You understand the complexities of safety regulations and are adept at developing and implementing safety programs that meet organizational goals. Your strong analytical skills allow you to identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies. You are a proactive communicator, able to engage with various stakeholders to promote a culture of safety within the organization. You are committed to continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to enhance safety protocols and training programs. In this role, you will lead the development of safety plans tailored to the unique challenges of the logistics environment, including emergency situations and ergonomic considerations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate WHS records and reporting metrics to support business initiatives.
