Apple is hiring an Apple Pay eCommerce Merchant Specialist to engage with e-Commerce merchants and drive Apple Pay acceptance. This role involves collaboration with various internal and external partners to enhance digital payment integration.
You have a strong background in business development or sales, ideally within the eCommerce or payments sector — you understand the nuances of digital payment solutions and how they can transform merchant operations. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to build rapport with both external partners and internal teams effectively. You thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve common goals. You are data-driven, using insights to inform your strategies and decisions, and you are passionate about enhancing the customer experience through innovative payment solutions.
Experience with Apple Pay or similar digital payment platforms is a plus, as is familiarity with eCommerce trends and technologies. A background in project management or operations can also be beneficial, as you will be coordinating efforts across multiple teams.
In this role, you will initiate and actively engage with potential eCommerce merchants to drive Apple Pay acceptance — your goal is to inspire merchants to integrate Apple Pay into their digital channels, enhancing their customer experience. You will work closely with the Wallet, Payments, and Commerce (WPC) team to ensure that merchants have the best possible integration experience. This involves understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions that leverage Apple’s iOS platform and payment features. You will also collaborate with internal partners, including Business Development, Product, and Operations teams, to align strategies and ensure successful implementation of Apple Pay solutions. Your role will require you to stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings, allowing you to provide valuable insights and recommendations to merchants.
