Confluent is seeking a Marketing Technology ROI Manager to drive financial accountability and performance transparency across their marketing ecosystem. This role requires strong analytical skills and operational discipline to manage the MarTech budget lifecycle effectively.
You are a highly analytical and operationally-minded individual with a strong background in marketing technology. You thrive in structured evaluation and operational discipline, ensuring that technology investments align with value and strategic business priorities. You have experience collaborating with various teams, including Marketing Ops Systems, Procurement, and Finance, to maximize efficiency across the marketing technology lifecycle.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to ask hard questions and provide honest feedback. You are a team player who values collaboration and is committed to driving financial accountability within the marketing ecosystem. Your data-driven decision-making approach enables you to evaluate and measure the effectiveness of marketing technology investments.
Experience in managing budgets and financial processes related to marketing technology is a plus. Familiarity with various MarTech tools and platforms will help you succeed in this role. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on operational rigor.
In this role, you will manage the budget lifecycle process for the MarTech stack, including forecast planning, tool renewals, and alignment with Procurement and Legal teams. You will build scalable frameworks that measure how Confluent evaluates, measures, procures, and renews its marketing technology investments. Your analytical skills will be crucial in driving performance transparency and ensuring that technology investments are aligned with the company's strategic business priorities.
You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure that the marketing technology ecosystem operates efficiently and effectively. This includes working with Marketing Ops Systems to optimize processes and ensure proper governance of technology investments. You will also be responsible for providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve the overall performance of the marketing technology stack.
