Overview

Amazon is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the development of innovative clean room solutions for advertisers. You'll collaborate with engineering and data science teams to deliver actionable insights and performance reporting. This role requires strong experience in data-driven decision-making and technical product management.

Job Description

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in product management, particularly in technical roles, where you've successfully led the development of data-driven solutions. Your background includes a strong focus on customer needs, allowing you to work backward from the customer to identify and prioritize their requirements. You are skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, and design, to build robust products that deliver measurable outcomes.

Your expertise in data analysis and reporting is complemented by a solid understanding of SQL and AWS, enabling you to process and analyze large datasets effectively. You are comfortable working with event-driven architectures and have experience in optimizing campaign performance through data insights. You thrive in environments where you can drive adoption and influence stakeholders through your analytical skills and technical knowledge.

You are a strategic thinker who can define the roadmap for product development while ensuring alignment with business goals. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders makes you an effective advocate for your products. You are passionate about using data to inform decisions and improve user experiences, and you enjoy mentoring junior team members to help them grow in their careers.

Desirable

Experience in the advertising technology space is a plus, as is familiarity with clean room solutions and privacy-focused data handling. You may also have a background in analytics tools or marketing technologies that enhance your ability to deliver impactful solutions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the strategy and execution of innovative clean room solutions within the Amazon Marketing Cloud team. Your primary responsibility will be to define the product vision and roadmap, ensuring that it aligns with the needs of advertisers looking to measure and optimize their campaigns. You will work closely with engineering teams to develop scalable architectures that can handle billions of impressions and conversions daily.

You will conduct user research to gather insights on advertiser needs and pain points, translating these findings into actionable product features. Your role will involve prioritizing the product backlog, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions. You will also be responsible for driving the adoption of your products by collaborating with internal teams and external partners to demonstrate their value.

As a Principal Product Manager, you will mentor and guide junior product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team. You will analyze product performance metrics and user feedback to iterate on features and enhance the overall user experience. Your contributions will directly impact the success of Amazon Ads, helping advertisers achieve their marketing goals through data-driven insights.

What we offer

Amazon provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401(k) matching program. You will enjoy paid time off and parental leave, ensuring a healthy work-life balance. The salary for this position ranges from $179,900 to $243,400 annually, reflecting the importance of this role in our organization. Join us at Amazon, where you can make a significant impact on the advertising landscape and help shape the future of marketing technology.
