Sweetgreen is seeking a Senior Manager of Operations Services to lead workforce management initiatives aimed at improving labor efficiency across their restaurant network. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in financial modeling and workforce strategy.
You have a strong foundation in analytics and financial modeling, with at least 5 years of experience in workforce management. Your strategic mindset allows you to turn insights into scalable programs that enhance operational efficiency while maintaining a high-quality guest experience. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with Operations, People, Finance, and Technology teams to design and execute impactful initiatives. Your analytical rigor is complemented by a hands-on approach, as you spend time in restaurants to validate program effectiveness and gather feedback.
Experience in the restaurant or retail industry is a plus, as is familiarity with workforce management systems. You are comfortable using data to drive decisions and have a proven track record of improving labor productivity. Your ability to balance efficiency with team member engagement sets you apart as a leader in workforce strategy.
In this role, you will own and evolve Sweetgreen’s labor optimization programs, focusing on improving scheduling practices and team deployment. You will partner with Operations and Finance to analyze labor performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and designing field-ready solutions. Your responsibilities will include translating labor modeling into actionable programs that enhance operational consistency across the restaurant network. You will lead initiatives that drive sustainable labor savings and productivity, ensuring that the guest experience remains a top priority.
You will also be responsible for collaborating with various departments to test and execute initiatives that improve labor planning and scheduling practices. Your field presence will be crucial as you validate the effectiveness of programs and gather insights that shape long-term operational strategies. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization, leveraging data-driven programs to enhance overall efficiency.
