You have 5+ years of backend engineering experience, particularly in building production systems that operate at scale. You understand the intricacies of owning services from design through deployment and have a wealth of experience in debugging complex distributed systems issues. Your expertise in TypeScript and Node.js is deep, and you have a strong grasp of modern software development practices, including CI/CD and microservices architecture. You thrive in environments that require both technical acumen and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience with legacy systems, particularly Java and Ruby, is a plus as you will be involved in the transition to modern technologies.
