Who you are

You have a strong background in IT systems engineering, particularly in identity and access management. Your experience with Okta and integrated SaaS systems has equipped you to handle complex identity issues and improve operational efficiency. You excel at building event-driven automations and enforcing access policies, ensuring compliance with SOX standards. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with stakeholders in Business Technology, People, and Engineering to drive strategic growth and support digital transformation. You are detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and resolving security risks, making you a key player in maintaining the integrity of enterprise systems. You enjoy creating self-service access workflows that enhance employee experience and reduce friction in IT processes.

Desirable

Experience with automated employee lifecycle management (Joiner/Mover/Leaver) is a plus. Familiarity with compliance standards and security best practices will help you excel in this role. A background in working with cross-functional teams and a passion for fostering local community connections will align well with Nextdoor's mission.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining enterprise identity and access management systems. You will own identity governance at scale, focusing on SSO/SCIM integrations and automated workflows. You will also play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with SOX standards through reliable integrations and processes. As the escalation point for IT support, you will resolve complex Okta and identity issues, ensuring that employees have seamless access to the tools they need.
