Tekion is seeking a Senior Manager for US Accounting to oversee all accounting activities for US entities. This role requires expertise in general ledger management, month-end close processes, and compliance management.
You have over 5 years of experience in accounting, particularly in managing general ledger activities and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Your expertise includes overseeing month-end close processes, reviewing journal entries, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements. You are skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly in coordinating with finance operations teams in different regions to ensure accuracy in transactional activities.
You possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to perform balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis effectively. Your attention to detail ensures that variances are resolved in a timely manner, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. You are adept at managing payroll accounting and have experience with fixed assets and accruals, making you a well-rounded candidate for this role.
Your leadership skills enable you to guide and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth. In this role, you will oversee all accounting activities for Tekion's US entities, ensuring that all processes are executed efficiently and accurately. You will own the month-end close process, reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations to guarantee the integrity of financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include managing payroll accounting and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, working closely with the finance operations team in India to review transactional activities.
You will perform and review balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis, ensuring that any variances are addressed promptly. Your role will require you to partner with various departments to facilitate accurate financial reporting and compliance, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
